The history of Milan dates back to 400 BC. How on Earth can you visit Milan and not visit the greatest church in Italy, which is also the 5th-greatest in the world? It is the Duomo di Milano, a white Gothic marble cathedral dedicated to St. Mary.  The cathedral sits right in the heart of Milan.

There is no other popular dish in Milan that every tourist should try except Cotoletta alla Milanese. It is veal cutlet with drawn butter fried bone. It tastes the best when it is served with Risotto alla Milanese.

The church Santa Maria delle Grazie is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. It houses Leonardo da Vinci’s all-famous mural The Last Supper right in the convent’s refectory.

Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio is another famous church in Milan. It is one of the oldest churches in Milan. One of the bishops of Milan, Eustorgius I, founded it in the 4th century and it was completed in the 16th century. It is situated in the Basilicas Park. This park connects Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio with the Basilica of San Lorenzo and Colonne di San Lorenzo.

If you are crazy about interior design or you want to buy the most unique furniture, you should definitely attend Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano. This is the largest furniture exhibition in Milan and in the world. It is usually held in April.
